T-Minus 8 days until Socialism returns full-throttle to America, or as Rush Limbaugh would say 8 days until America is held hostage.

I personally don't think America will be held hostage. A hostage is one who is held for a definite period of time, usually until hostilities and war are over or a peace treaty is signed. I think America is - quite simply OVER and DONE! The Republic, like in the days of Rome, will finish its transformation and will become first a dictatorship of the elite, tech and media, then will come under the domination of a few global oligarchs with a Gramsci-Marxian ideology that will make every breathing human being conform to their demands.

I am sorry I am not more optimistic, but I read the Book of Revelation - and not through Tim LaHaye, Hal Lindsey John Walvoord and John Hagee eyes. I personally believe that Dispensational Premillenialism is heresy and heterodox. I have written quite extensively on this subject in the old web site and will post those articles here for your perusal. Without going into deep detail on my interpretation of that Book, suffice it to say that I believe Christians will go through the Great or Last Tribulation, will suffer great persecution, many will be killed, most will be silenced, isolated (probably into one of the 187 FEMA camps the U.S. maintains throughout the country with railroad tracks next to or beside EACH ONE of them. Whether they would be re-education camps, labor camps or death camps is beside the point. The point is at the end of time Christians will see a harsh reality as - in my belief - Satan will be released, for a little season (a short time) to assemble all the forces of evil against the church, but before the final crush comes, up rides Jesus with all the hosts of heaven to call a halt to human history. Please read Revelation 20:1-10 through that light.

1 And I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years,
3 and threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he should not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.
7 And when the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison,
8 and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore.
9 And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them.
10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

For two thousand years Satan was bound, although not gagged and not in solitary confinement but still able to send out emissaries and messages to any who would hear and heed. I personally believe Satan has been released now. He is deceiving the nations now and all the nations (under the banner of the United Nations) have been gathered together. I think this is where we are. How long before there is finality and fire comes down from heaven, I don't really know, but in the meantime, if you are a Christian, you are, or soon will be surrounded.

I didn't mean to write about Revelation 20 today, but it came to mind this afternoon when thirteen of my church members assembled for Bible Study. We don't have Sunday School right now, but we do have Tuesday Bible Study and we are using the curriculum that would normally be used for Sunday School - the Adult Sunday School class that is. Today's lesson was taken from Psalm 91 and was entitled: "Shaking Off Fear". This Psalm is filled with glorious promises about how God will bring us through tough times, but more importantly how, in the midst of entrapment and destruction, God will be our refuge and protective shield.

A question was asked: "Would Christians need a protective shield if we are raptured before the Tribulation?" I knew where this question came from as I realize that as many as 90 percent of Christianity has come under some or most of the influence of Dispensational Premillinialism - that heresy which actual started to be propounded in 1824, thanks to a 14-year-old Scottish lassie who had dreams about Jesus's second coming, and a third, and a fourth. Yes, 4 comings (three returns, the Rapture, the Beginning of the Millennium and the end of the Millennium devouring of Satan. The first time we ever hear of a Rapture is from Margaret MacDonald who passed her visions and dreams on the her pastor and he on to others. Again, see the articles I linked to here - all in one web page.

The answer to the question asked above had to be answered Scripturally and I had to point out that if you believe what most Christians have been taught, then you won't need God as a protective shield. He has taken you out of harm's way. If you believe that way the Apostles and most of the second, third and fourth generation Christians did, then you will need God as your shield, but it is more of a protective shield against Satan. It is not a guarantee that we will not go through a final great tribulation.

I don't want to bore you with details about how I have arrived at my conclusions. Suffice it to say that my area of expertise within the confines of eschatology is what is call Apocalyptic Literature - that is, the type of writing of which that the Book of Revelation is composed. It was a very popular form of writing back in the days of the Roman Empire, used by Jews and Christians to convey cryptic symbolism that, in most cases, disguised the imagery of the wicked emperors and the empire of Rome itself. Just saying bad things about the Emperor and his Empire is tantamount to signing your own death warrant.

Okay, back to the Bible Study today, the participation level was at its highest every. I mean half of those present asked questions, made comments, had observations and gave illustrations of what they thought was being conveyed in Psalm 91. Even one new comer, and the youngest in the group participated. The other half of the crowd paid close attention. Very little of the discussion had anything to do with the "End of Time" theme. It did have a lot to do with living in the time of great trials and tribulations.

One thing I made sure everyone came away with, that they understand the six things God is assured of doing for every Christian:

  1. God will deliver the one who has his heart set on (or given over) to Him;
  2. God will protect the one who knows the very person of God (that is to have a relationship with Him);
  3. God will answer the one who calls out to Him - He doesn't have a deaf ear;
  4. God will be with us in times of trouble; that means He will never abandon us in our trying times;
  5. God will rescue us and give us honor; that means the helping hand of God reaches out and give us weighty importance and recognition due us only because we gave due recognition to God, putting Him first in our lives;
  6. God will satisfy us with a long life. We are not promised a life of 90 or 100 years; or even a life of 50 or 60 years. We may live only to age of 25. But "long life" refers to eternity, where the Christian will live with Him forever.

There you have it! With 8 days left before the Socialist takeover of America, we have no need to fear. In his inauguration speech on March 4, 1933, Franklin Delano Roosevelt made his famous statement, given during the worst of the Great Depression. In his way of soothing the fear of Americans under great financial suffering and worried about the future of their lives, Roosevelt said: "The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself." I truly think Roosevelt was wrong. Why? Because if God is on your side you won't have fear. But in these last days, where the Left wants everyone to fear them, the phrase has legitimacy and can be understood as this: "The only thing we have to fear is the LEFT."

But still, if God is on your side and you are on His, you won't even need to fear the LEFT - even when they come to take you away! Because you know the end of the story - Revelation 20:9 and 10:
"...and fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever."

To put it in a whimsical way: "To Hell with the Devil and the LEFT."

Blog for January 11 Blog for January 13

Blogs are about the blogger. It's as if he or she merely toots their own horns about the things they do, say and love.

My life is boring. I read, I watch Glenn Beck and Mark Levin. I listen to Andrew Wilkow. I engage in some conversation with those who are willing to listen (they being masochistic and enjoy killing themselves with my banter).

I plan on just laying out the things that bother me and the things I love. Nothing in-between. I hope you find whatever I put here amusing.
